About Optigate Clinical Partners

Optigate Clinical Partners is an advisory firm founded in Scotts Valley, California, by Edith Wilson. It matches wellness, longevity, and mental health clinics with bio-technologies through a five-stage program it calls Pathfinder: discovery, data analysis, bio-tech match, implementation, and outcomes.

Optigate represents the clinic. It evaluates a technology against what the clinic already does, what its clients need, and what its room and staff can carry, before anything is recommended.

Optigate has a disclosed commercial relationship with Neurova Labs covering this program. Clinics and treatment programs that contact Neurova Labs through this page are credited to Optigate.

Success rate

Thirty-minute sessions spread over five days make a program short enough that clients see it through.

Measurable change

A clinic that wants its own numbers can add the 22-marker RNA blood panel through iXpressGenes, drawn before and after a program, and see what moved in its own clients.

No additional staffing requirements

Facilitator training and certification for clinicians or practitioners are included with access to Neurova Academy.

Fits in a corner

Users stand in place during a session, using only upper and lower body movements in about a square meter.

INSIDE EVERY SESSION

Six phases, thirty minutes.

01 Activate

You start moving. Bilateral boxing and color-matched targets bring your body and your attention online at the same time.

02 Challenge

The difficulty climbs to meet you. More targets, faster decisions, calibrated to how you are performing.

03 Sequence

Handling objects, following procedural steps, and finishing tasks while the load is on.

04 React

Scanning walls, randomized target patterns, and targets at varying depths, working your reaction speed.

05 Switch

Punch, dodge, shoot, reload, and navigate inside an environment that keeps moving. Switching between them is the whole point.

06 Recover

Every session ends on purpose. Guided box breathing, binaural audio cueing, and a deliberate downshift before you take the headset off.

Continuation of care

Aftercare is usually limited to a check-in call. A headset at discharge sends the client home with the same program they ran in your clinic, and gives you something concrete to follow up on.

  • During treatment. Your clinic runs Neurova Academy in house, on its own schedule, alongside the existing program.
  • At discharge. Clients buy the headset they already trained on from your clinic and continue the program at home.
  • After discharge. Your clinic stays the point of contact for that headset, and no annual access fee passes to the client.

Clinics that run Neurova Academy can sell headsets to clients who have previously completed a program, at cost or for a markup. Maximum selling price (MSP) to a client is $5,000. Clinics remain the point of contact for every headset they sell. Clinics placing headsets with several clients at a time are priced at volume.

Where it runs today

  • The Ukrainian military, in an active conflict environment.
  • Cleveland Police, United Kingdom.
  • Veteran-friendly clinics in Utah and Idaho.
  • Nilson Homes, a premier homebuilder, provides access to headsets for all employees.
  • More than 500 programs delivered to date.

For addiction treatment programs

The strongest results came from the members who started with the highest inflammatory load.

Published research associates alcohol, stimulant, and opioid use disorders with elevated inflammatory signaling. An average-population result understates what matters to a treatment program. The members who entered the Neurova Labs protocol with the highest inflammatory burden at Day 1 are the closest match to the clients a program admits.

What we measured

103 protocol members with paired Day 1 and Day 30 blood panels, alongside 10 untreated control members. Each panel reads 22 markers as RNA gene expression in whole blood, analyzed by iXpressGenes, a CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited laboratory. The Global Inflammation Score (GIS) is a 0 to 100 composite of those markers. Lower is calmer.

What the highest-burden members showed at Day 30

  • 54 percent lower inflammation score among the highest-burden 10 members. GIS 67.9 to 31.1, and 9 of 10 improved.
  • 48 percent lower inflammation score among the highest-burden 26 members. GIS 52.4 to 27.0, and 23 of 26 improved.
  • 44 to 76 percent lower levels of ten pro-inflammatory markers among the highest-burden 26 members. TNF-alpha was lower in 26 of 26.

Checked against a control arm

In the highest starting band (GIS 60 to 100), protocol members fell 49 points (n = 6) and untreated controls fell 19.5 points (n = 4). After adjusting for baseline, the protocol arm fared 12.0 points better than controls. The analysis labels that advantage as suggested, and a controlled, baseline-matched validation study is underway.

How to read these results

These are observational findings from Neurova Labs protocol groups that ran from May through June 2026, and members were not randomized. The control arm started 16 GIS points higher than the protocol arm. The highest-burden groups are ranked on each member's own Day 1 score, and high starters tend to fall on retest regardless of what they do, so part of any drop is natural. Among all 103 members the average score was flat from Day 1 to Day 30. The blood panel is a wellness and research tool and is not a diagnostic. These results do not establish that Neurova Academy treats addiction or any disease. Individual results vary.

Built to fit inside a treatment stay and follow the client home

  • Intake week. A Day 1 blood panel and facilitator-led sessions fit within the first treatment week.
  • During the stay. Staff run sessions with minimal build-out, and each client gets a headset of their own.
  • Day 14. A follow-up panel documents change for the client, your team, and payers.
  • Discharge. The headset goes home with the client for continued use in aftercare.

One headset per bed. The outcomes package gives your program documented data to bring to payer conversations. It supports evidence-building and does not guarantee a higher rate.

Start with a pilot. A 60-day pilot measures results in your own population: Day 1 and Day 14 blood panels on every enrolled client, Days 1 to 30 in your program, then Days 31 to 60 at home with the headset after discharge. Your team receives an outcomes summary covering blood markers, symptoms, step-down, and 30-day readmission, compared against your facility history.

Per-client pricing for treatment programs

  • $4,500 per client. Take-home headset, one per client. It goes home at discharge.
  • $440 per client. Blood kit for the Day 1 and Day 14 panels.
  • $4,940 per client in total.

The annual access fee is waived for treatment programs on the per-client model.

What a day-rate increase covers over a 30-day stay

  • $200 a day: $6,000 in added revenue, $4,940 paid to Neurova Labs, $1,060 kept by your facility.
  • $300 a day: $9,000 in added revenue, $4,940 paid to Neurova Labs, $4,060 kept by your facility.
  • $400 a day: $12,000 in added revenue, $4,940 paid to Neurova Labs, $7,060 kept by your facility.

Break-even is about $165 a day over a 30-day stay. Day-rate increases are negotiated with each payer and are not guaranteed. Treatment program pricing is subject to final agreement. Pricing valid through December 31, 2026.

ABOUT NEUROVA LABS

Veteran founded. Veteran led.

Based out of Utah, Neurova Labs is veteran founded and veteran led. CEO and founder Brenden Borrowman, PhD, is a retired U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient. Chief Medical Officer Marc Ó Gríofa, MD, PhD, leads scientific and clinical direction.

Neurova Academy was developed from clinical modalities built for clients in an inpatient program through neurology research, then translated into virtual reality. Program development was guided by fNIRS and fNCI conducted at a neurological treatment center.

Before your first session

Neurova Academy runs on a commercially available VR headset, and the manufacturer's health and safety guidance applies. The headset is not for children under 10. Talk to a doctor before use if you are pregnant, elderly, or have a heart condition, a psychiatric condition, binocular vision abnormalities, or another serious medical condition. A small number of people experience seizures or blackouts triggered by flashing lights or patterns. Some people feel nausea, dizziness, disorientation, or eye strain. Stop if you do, and do not drive until you have fully recovered. Sessions are done standing, and the space is cleared before you begin.
